Nature is our greatest teacher. To create a relationship with plants is to forge a partnership that nourishes the individual and the ecosystem. As earth stewards, we honor the gift of each plants unique energy signature, and feel gratitude for the learning, growth, and expansion plants facilitate.

What is the history of cacao?
Rich in nutrients and antioxidants, pure cacao is a superfood with a rich history that predates the Mayan peoples (1000 BC - 250 AD). Spanning time, geography and cultures, cacao has held a special place in hearts; whether honored and imbibed in ceremony or sacrifice, in reverence of life or death, or even used as a means of currency, the spirit of cacao has shaped lives for generations upon generations. Beginning in the early 16th century, cacao was adapted by the Spanish into a sweet drink with the addition of sugar, and from there, with the introduction of processing (including pressing and tempering), the evolution of cacao to modern day chocolate began.
What makes Keith's Cacao special?
Meeting the Spirit of Cacao is always Divine timing. For Keith Wilson, this sacred greeting was one that catalyzed the revolution of his healing work, and also the spiritual use of cacao in our modern society. With honor to the land and for the people for over twenty years, Keith and his partner Barbara worked closely with indigenous families to bring pure, Criollo cacao -- birthed in the mountains under the canopy of the Guatemalan rainforests -- direct to open-hearted souls around the globe. As certified Keith's Cacao practitioners, Tonia and Jessica are honored to support Wild Minnow members with this sacred plant medicine. We choose Keith's Cacao, exclusively, for personal and ceremonial use, because we know that Keith's is ethically-sourced, fair-trade, 100% ceremonial grade cacao, and can trust that the cacao is handled with love and honor, from harvesting and toasting, to peeling and grinding.
