How to Prepare for ceremony

Follow your heart in creating a personal sanctuary, sacred space, in which you feel safe and protected.

A sacred space is quiet and welcoming, is pleasing to your senses, incorporating natural elements, candles, incense, supportive cushion(s), and/or soft blankets, allows you settle into stillness, without interruption, and includes personal sacred items.

Ceremony Essentials

To ensure your comfort and ease of integration, please gather the following items prior to our ceremony:

  • meditation cushion, blankets and/or pillows to support your physical body as you may wish to shift position from a seat, to a reclined position

  • comfortable layers to accommodate any changes in body temperature

  • mug of cacao (recipe here)

  • journal or sketchbook and preferred writing utensil(s)

  • water

Ceremony Etiquette

With honor to each of our commitments to nourish our self, as well as the time we have dedicated to unite in community to share our heart energy this day, our ceremony will begin, and end, at the appointed time. When you join the ceremony via the Zoom link (shared upon registration), you will enter a Waiting Room. It is recommended that you log in with the Zoom link up three to five minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. The host will admit all members at the start time of the scheduled offering. Please note, the admission into the ceremony will close three minutes after the start of the scheduled offering.

To be sacred witnesses, let us invite into our hearts the wisdom of our beloved partners here upon planet, the Tree Spirits, in Quechuan, the Malkikuna. May we enter this circle grounded in the roots of our own BEing, and also keenly aware of the fabric of consciousness by which we are all united, just like the mycelial network below the surface of the fertile earth. May we open our hearts to receive each other from a place of inner stillness and harmony.
